Items to bring to an Ultra, Marathon or Half Marathon:
We have compiled a list of items that may help you get through your next North Country Run. Although we have tried to cover a lot, we may have missed a few items. Remember that this is a long list and only you know what you should bring for your race day needs.
- Camping chair
- Flashlight or headlamp
- Aspirin/Pain Killers
- Change of Clothes
- Baby wipes
- Towels (for a dip in the river afterwards)
- Your own water
- Gloves, just in case it's cold
- Extra socks
- Extra shoes including a pair of non-running shoes
- Sun block
- Small personal first aid kit
- Snacks, candy and other items to eat after the race
- Bug Spray
- Vaseline, Sport Wax or Body Glide
- GU
- Plastic bag for your smelly clothes afterwards
- Camera
- Rain Gear and/or umbrella
- Sunglasses
- Drop Bags or Rubbermaid Container with your first and last name clearly labeled on it
- Tums or Pepto-Bismol
- Medical Tape
